There is a very short window in which 2 children of different ages look cute and not totally ridiculous in Mennonite bonnets.
I hope I squeaked in before that cut off.
Kauffman’s is one of my favorite little stores in all of Wisconsin. I picked up a huge bag of steel cut oats, organic popcorn, dried apple, jam, raw nuts, 2 homemade pies, spices….. we dropped a lot of money there this weekend. But really, it’s amazing. Along with bulk foods, baking supplies, cookies and even eco-friendly laundry detergents, they sell dresses, soap, and these cute bonnets. My front porch rocker (similar to what the girls are sitting on) came from here too. I LOVE this place. Stop if you are ever in that area. The folks who work there treat you like you matter. It’s awesome.
Hope your Easter was grand. We’re coming off a sugar high, but going home was splendid.

so cute! I think you got the age right. My mom tried it on me at 10…definitely not the right age!

I’m all about bringing the bonnet back! This goes for Mom’s and kids. They are so functional but who doesn’t feel like a freak wearing a bonnet while mowing the lawn eh? I did buy my girl a bonnet sunhat for summer. As soon as it arrives in the mail I’ll put up pictures.
Viva la bonnet!
